About Jerry
I was born to the union of the late N’Garmai and the late Suahkollie Gai in Gbaomu town, Bong County, Liberia, West Africa. I started my education in this small town.
After graduating from elementary school, my older brother took me to an Americo Liberian family. They are descendants of African Americans who returned to Africa after the slave trade in 1847 and settled in this part of Africa, today known, as Liberia.
I lived with this family for a few years before I returned to my mother. After some time, I went to Kakata, Liberia, where I completed junior high school. I went to Monrovia the capital city of Liberia and attended the William V.S Tubman High School and graduated in 1984.
I moved to the United States in 1991 because of the civil war in Liberia. After some months, I was able to enroll into Notre Dame University of Maryland. In 2000, I graduated with a major in Computer Information Systems and a minor in Business Administration. Because of my quest for higher education, I enrolled into Strayer University and in 2004 I graduated with honors from the master’s program in Computer Information Technology. I am the founder and president of Faith Outreach Ministry & Care Services Inc., which is focuses on bringing hope to the homeless and other less fortunate Americans and immigrants. I am also the Author of two books: “Out of Body Experiences Prior to and after a Civil War” and “The Coming Disaster and its Cause, (How America and the World would be Save)”. I am a former vice presidential candidate of Liberia.
